Originally owned by the Patrick Museum near Birmingham and then later by a one private owner until I acquired it in early September 2007. Car is totally original and was featured (half page picture) in a book about the museum published in 1985. Condition upon arrival (by large transporter from Rugby - although fully driveable) is good although not perfect.
The car arrived running well and with 12 months MOT. Has received some paint during lifetime which is thought to be because of some minor door/sill damage when owned by the previous owner. The body panels appear all original but with some rust in particular to offside sill (covered in underseal) and rear arch bases. My plan is to restore the car but to do this as sympathetically as possible retaining as much as possible (most by the looks of it) or using NOS Renault parts. The car has never been previously restored with the only major mechanical work having been carried out to the clutch (replaced). All of the glass is original (etched with no plate) including the headlights together with most factory stickers / badges etc.
Spare has never been used and interior is clean (minimal wear on drivers front seat bolster).
