Description
Renault 5 gt turbo phase 1, the condition of this car inside and out is excellent. All electrics work ok, windows, fog lights, central locking, etc. Many modifications been carried out, but this car can easily be converted back to standard as I have all the original parts with it .......... It starts here........... ERL Aguamist water injected running 50/50 methanol / deionised water. GT tunning adjustable timing sensor set at 9 degrees advance inline with water injection system (no pinking) carb completely overhauled and re jetted with 1.4 main jet and.9 air corrector and new co screw. KTEC in car boost control. Mocal in car boost gauge . strapped intercooler and flowed. k+n air filter insert with flowed box. NGK racing plugs . new re209 coil pack and cap and rotor. BB tuning head gasket + high tensile head bolts. moderate matching of cylinder head with inlet manifold / gasket + flowed head .cylinder head overhauled , valves re cut and new stem seals . low temp thermostat and rad switch . forge dump valve .chrome turbo heatshield . 3 perc fan switches fitted and all working . new water pump and various hoses . new battery . silicone boost pipes . new standard genuine exhaust with centre box removed and welded sounds nice but not loud . tarox grooved and drilled front discs on genuine Renault pads. Cobra hyperfrequency alarm fitted to original plip key .pioneer cd head unit . all the above work has been carried out over the last year with a lot of cost . rolling road tuned recently and had max 145 bhp , now running 131.8 bhp . which is ample . has got the potential to run at 185 bhp with a hybrid turbo and bigger intercooler. all the above work has been carried out at my Renault specialist garage over the last year .
