[edit] Renault 5 Register

This is a database of Renault 5s - please add your car (and details of all other Renault 5s you spot/know about/see on eBay, etc)! You need to log in before you can add details of your car.

IMPORTANT: If you think you've logged in to the site yet are being told you need to log in in order to edit any page in the register or elsewhere in the wiki, please log out, close and reopen your browser and try again. Try also clicking on the "Wiki Home" link before editing anything here... There may be a small bug somewhere ;-)

[edit] Adding a Car Record to the Register

Please try to stick to the correct type category (Gordini Turbo, TL, TX, etc.) when recording details of cars as that is what records the cars as their particular type:

To browse to the correct page to add a car to the record, follow either:

• Mk I Renault 5 (1972-84) Register

or:

• Renault Super 5 (1985-96) Register

Cars are recorded by registration number. Please browse the categories in order to find details of the different models of Renault 5 recorded in The Register.

NEW Information - March 2008

A new field has been added to the car register - Last Seen/Known. This is a method of tracking when the car was last seen/known/spotted. If your record doesn't have this field in the template, add the following to it (for example):

We are also tracking those register entries that don't have photos attached to them. So, take a look at Category: Register Entries Without Photo, and add photos to those entries (if you have them, and it's OK/permissible to use them). Don't forget to remove the entries from the category! The instructions are on the page when you get there.

[edit] Privacy and Copyright Information

Your car may appear in this Register, even though you (the current owner) did not submit it. Since the Register is publicly accessible, and editable, other members of the Renault 5 community may add your car to the register (in fact, they are positively encouraged to do so, in order to help build up a comprehensive record of all the Renault 5s that exist). The same goes for photos of the cars... If your photo(s) are used here without permission, and you do not want it here, please contact the site owner. However, in the interests of producing the most comprehensive register of Renault 5s there is, please let them remain if at all possible.

If you are the owner of a car here, and you do not want your car's details to be on the Register, please contact the site owner.

Lastly, a lot of effort has gone into creating this register. If you want to use any information contained within, please contact the site owner for permission.
