This is the Renault 5 Alpine Atmo Register. Please scroll to the bottom of the page for the list of cars in this Register.

This car was launched in 1976, and was powered by a 1397cc overhead camshaft engine. The engine was special as it had a high compression ratio (10:1), hemispherical combustion chambers and a crossflow head.

This car is identical mechanically to the Renault 5 Gordini and is often referred to as the Alpine "Atmo" for Atmospheric, to differentiate it from the Renault 5 Alpine Turbo.
