Sold on eBay, October 2004. Description:
This renault 5 turbo 2, has been
professional converted to right hand drive - and has the following options fitted: Sparco Leather seats (new) with demountable full Harness belts, Euro Tech Stainless steel exhaust, and Electric Windows. The Turbo 2 was produced to compete with the Group B Peugeot, Audi, and Metro 6R4 on the World rally scene. The FIA required manufacturers to produce 500 cars in order to meet homologation rules and this is one of these Homologation Specials.
Fitted with a mid mounted 1400cc Turbocharged engine, these strictly 2 seater Renault 5 offered outrageous levels of performance and handling mean purposeful styling and buckets full of grip. This Vehicle was purchased From Barons Auctions on the 13th march 2001 and has been in storage ever since, The car, when purchased from Barons, had covered a warranted 24,000 miles with Mot certificates warranting the mileage, The Service history has only 1 stamp from new. Since Purchasing the car it has only done another 300 miles, The car was first registered in 1985 Colour: Pearl White, Interior : Dark blue leather And blue carpets. I paid £6,352.00 for the car, and have since spent a further £4,000
