History of the Car

This car was owned by David Austin from approx 1991 to 2005.

I (User:r5gordini) purchased the car from David in late 2005, complete with his collection of parts with which he had intended to restore the car. Unfortunately, the car is beyond economic repair, so I have decided to scrap it. As of March 2007, I have removed the interior and cut off part of the roof. Engine out next!

The car was David's pride and joy, so it is with mixed feelings that I scrap it. As I remove parts of the interior, I can see how rotten it is - there are big holes in the sills, inner and outer, and the front inner wings are very crusty.
