History of A742 SCK
A742 SCK is still in my ownership, it was for sale on www.renaultclassiccar.com but as circumstances changed i withdrew it from sale.
it is currently in a carcoon in storage as i want to keep the miles low and undergoing numerous modifications after my nurburgring road trip in august 2008. it now runs a single carbon shell seat, perspex windows and TDC engine cover to get weight to 920kgs, its has had new carpets made up and all engine ancilleries nickel plated or powder coated accordingly and tastefully. engine is out for rebuild to my own spec inc.charge cooler, ally rad, re worked head, external wastegate, 4-1 manifold, roller turbo, maxi cam, liners, forged pistons, stroker crank and forged rods. gearbox out for LSD, straight cut gear set and 7 1/4" AP triple plate clutch. car remains looking as before and everything i have added is original renault sport or TDC parts and can be returned to standard, still have all original parts at home and engine bay looks the same. still on gotti 3 piece split rims and in beautiful condition, engine bay painted and heat shielded, and car ready for paintwork to eliminate all chips i had accumulated when using car.
SORN till finished then out next year for a return to 'the ring'
