Bought in pieces from Blackburn in 2005 as unfinished project. Currently under part restoration, engine rebuilt ready to go back, rust repairs undertaken, will be resprayed in white.
Engine rebuilt with new rings and shells, oil pump, water pump, gaskets, Hybrid T3 turbo. Converting to blow through with help from this forum.
Shell repairs. Repairs to both outer sills - was going to replace but aftermarket sills were so thin and badly fitting that I repaired the old ones instead. All rot removed and patched or filled with weld and sanded back. Battery tray removed ( battery will go inside ) Both doors extensively repaired, will replace If I find a mint pair, New windscreen in bronze bought. Front suspension stripped down, upper driver's side wishbone replaced, all wishbones stripped and painted, Hubs stripped, grooved discs fitted, calipers cleaned up checked and repainted, new pads, braided hoses, one handbrake cable, swapped interior for a mint steering wheel. Buckets to go in. Exhaust is stainless with Frankenstein back-box. Engine to be rebuilt again due to bad storage from previous owner. Fuel regulator, New wheels bought from eBay.fr if they actually arrive!!!
Shopping list. All alloy GTT intercooler, electric fuel pump, clutch, tyres, battery, inlet adapter, brake bias valve (will it work??)
Missing parts. Oil dipstick, front hub end plate, wing mirrors, gear knob, 1 seatbelt and I'm sure there is more...If you can help get in touch.
