Was originally registered as E333 BGT. Featured in contemporary magazine articles.
Advertised on eBay, March 2010. Reached a price of £6,500
Photos showed corrosion around where EBS would have fitted a radio aerial to the right-hand side windscreen upright (aerial missing in photos).
Pretty much a one off opportunity to acquire a rare & appreciating classic. One of only 14 made (how many are left?? 3 that I know of) RHD Renault 5 GT Turbo EBS convertible in almost original condition. Only a small amount of work would return the car to showroom condition. Ok here goes: stage II turbo fitted at GT tuning. it benefits from the original silver paintwork (please see photos for condition etc); wheels have been changed at some stage prior to my ownership. The interior is original and in good condition.
The MOT ran out in Sept 2009 but if the price is right I will offer with 12 months' MOT. This car has been garaged for the last 5 years and only had a couple of runs out each year. The mileage is 47,922 and is registered on a ‘E’ plate. There is so much more I could tell you but I would be here forever. Please no test drivers as I want to see pound notes before even a test drive will be allowed. Please feel free to contact me for any further info.
