A quick explanation about spam and fraud, and the Renault 5 Classified Adverts (For Sale/Wanted) on this site: The old version of r5gordini.co.uk featured a very well-subscribed classified adverts section, which is still available for viewing here... Unfortunately, submitters of adverts were targets of spam and fraud...
(whereby they would be contacted by an overseas buyer and offered large sums of money, way in excess of the item's value. Any cheque that was sent would later be found to be fraudulent, but the vendor would have been tricked into paying out the difference between the item's value and the value of the cheque). In order to combat fraud and spam, I created a new Classified Adverts section. This requires you to register and log in to the site before you can submit adverts. You must also register and log in in order to contact vendors. Again, somewhat unfortunately, this means that having to register may deter some from submitting their adverts. Please don't worry, registration is free, simple and easy... Don't be afraid - sign up now!
