Andrew (owner of this site) has bought his first project Renault 5 in 10 years! A Renaut 5 Convertible, as a present for his wife. She's to do most of the resto, but obviously Andrew will help!
Exciting news! Today's (Thursday 3rd April 2008) edition of Classic Car Weekly magazine (a UK publication) should have a Renault 5 Buyer's Guide as its centre section!
Make sure you pop into a newsagent to get a copy...
My Renault 5 TL and Renault 5 Turbo 2 were photographed for this photoshoot, and I contributed to the writing of the buyer's guide (though don't shoot me down if you disagree with what I've said)!

My story is one of madness, insanity, blood, sweat and tears!
My friend Liz and I decided to compete in the Ramshackle Rally from Calais to Valencia via Italy in a banger in order to raise money for Water Aid. The rules of the rally were simple: Buy an old banger for £100 or less, then theme it and drive it 1500 miles in 4 days through 5 countries, across 2 mountain ranges, competing against 99 other teams.
