 French R5 Club "London is Calling" - 22nd April 2012  From http://renault-5.net/london_2012.htm: a French Renault 5 club is visiting London on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April 2012. It would be good for some of the UK R5 to meet up too! It seems that the club members will be meeting at a hotel and visiting London, mostly on foot (but going on a drive in the afternoon). See the above link for more details, and comment below if you'd like to attend! I am planning to do so. Andrew

If the former, what about meeting them off the ferry and joining the drive to Canterbury on Saturday (you and I are both local at least). Others could join on route or on the return on Monday. Would be a nice touch.

I am in touch with them (not gatecrashing!) - they would love it if some UK members would join them...
My thoughts exactly - I'd like to meet up with them in Dover and we could drive to Canterbury for lunch then on to London if we wish...

Not sure if there are many English pubs in Picadilly... Mainly Angus Steak houses!
I would fancy a spin on a Sunday afternoon, but can't that weekend.

Yes, I did meet up with them - had a nice time! We took them into Canterbury, where we ate lunch, and then I took them on towards London before turning back. I'd had a busy week and needed the rest of the weekend to relax and recuperate!
I think they were the same crew. Very friendly, very approachable.
I hope to meet them again!
Oh, and I'll upload photos if and when I get a round tuit!
