Here is a full aluminium roll-cage for a Renault 5. It should fit all renault 5's apart from the mid-engined and the GT turbo's. ONLY WEIGHS 20kgs +/-1kg
We believe this was made by 'Alleybar' in the Mid '80s. It was used for a couple of races (the old TS Championship) before it was banned. It has since been dry-stored. Aluminium cages are not race/rally legal in the eyes of the MSA because they are not strong enough. (please check if you intend to use this for any competition use - responsibility is your own)
However, this is a great looking cage and will no-doubt add a little strength and rigidity to your vehicle.
The cage has steel brackets that are rusty, but structuraly sound. The 6 feet and transmission tunnel brace are not bent, but It would benefit from a respray. Viewings very welcome: Harlow area.
